About

Lilly Gitlitz is a songwriter, performer, and composer for visual media. She was born and raised in South Florida and attended Wesleyan University, where she graduated with BAs in English and Music. There, she was an active part of the school's vibrant music scene where she met lifelong collaborators, formed her six-piece band, and scored four short student films.
Upon graduating, Lilly moved to New York City where she has continued this work across mediums. While working as a Junior Composer at Yessian Music, she wrote original, specialized music for a wide range of commercial and experiential projects, as well as two short films. As a performer, she has played at iconic NYC venues like The Bitter End, The Bowery Electric, and Pete's Candy Store. She has three released singles and is currently recording her debut EP, set for release this upcoming winter.

Lilly's songwriting and composition are united by their interweaving instrumentation, distinctive use of the voice, and strong narrative instinct. And before we go, she has a huge love for upright pianos, the color red, spiral seashells, and a perfectly-cooked pasta dish.
